About
I’m an experienced singer/songwriter, composer and music teacher based in Manchester.
From a background where music was greatly valued, I studied piano, clarinet and composition at the Royal Northern College of Music and graduated with the qualifications GRNCM LTCL.
I’ve been playing and writing music my whole life and as a music teacher I have been able to share this experience with others.
My Experience
- Classical pieces for solo piano and for clarinet and piano.
- Songs for choirs. These have been performed in schools and included in speech days and music festivals.
- Songs for children. These have been used in schools and nurseries and were published by Scholastic publications.
- Popular/jazzy songs. Many of these have been published and broadcast.
- Arrangements of popular tunes for flute and clarinet duet and for piano solo.
- Lyrics written for a publisher to create English versions of Italian songs.
- Instrumental music for background music systems and music stations in the U.S. Also for relaxation and pilates classes.

I’m a member of BASCA (British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors), ISM (the Incorporated Society of Musicians) and PRS (the Performing Right Society).
